Unit 6: 2D Figures
1. I can calculate the area and circumference of circles using radius and diameter.
2. I can model supplementary and complementary angles.
3. I can calculate the perimeter and area of complex figures.
4. I can calculate the area and perimeter of 2-D figures in real-world problems.
Vertical angles - angles opposite each other when two lines intersect.
Adjacent angles - angles that share a common side. Complementary angles - two angles whose sum is 90 degrees.
Supplementary angles - two angles whose sum is 180 degrees.
Similarity - in similar figures, the corresponding angles are congruent, and the corresponding sides are proportional.
